This system consisting of 2 conically sharpened metal bars enable to hold a perforation blade in a firm locking position. The GP-RL 100 ensures an exact positioning of the perforation blade, completely without further adjustments or any other time-consuming efforts. This is all the more impressive when applying the GP-RL system for plants with a web width of 39” and more.
The GP-RL 100 provides perfect positioning of perforation blades, cutting blades, and even micro-perforation rules without additional adjustment.
Installation of the GP-RL 100 is only necessary ONCE. After the initial installation it is simply a matter of changing the blades within seconds.
All types of blades sold in the market can be used. All you have to provide are the measurements of the slots, together with a specification of the locking devices in use. Once installed, the GP-RL 100 is offering a whole range of potential advantages:

The latest model of GP-RL 100 Quick Change Perforation Clamp Bar is now fitted with a compressible plastic round bar under the fixed part of  the assembly, made to give a precise height fit for the GP-RL 100 in the slot in the perforation cylinder. This, together with the compressible pads fitted along the back side of the bar enable the use of ALL standard perforating, cutting or micro-perforating blades of a certain nominal height without any adjustment of the GP-RL 100 bars. The system will automatically compensate slight variations in blade height and thickness.

PACK LEAN ADJUSTMENT
With the compressible pads fitted to the bars, it will be possible to fit shim spacers up to 0.03 mm thickness between the edge of the perforation cylinder and the perforation blade without having to carry out any adjustment to the bar itself. This variable system enables to eliminate the problem in a fast and simple way.
